AGENDA ITEM #10.3 <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: May 1, 2007 <br /> Sub_i ect: Proposal from Jon Commers — Economic Impact <br /> Study of Highway 371 Expansion <br /> Report: At the April 3rd Council meeting the Council <br /> voted to accept the proposal from Jon Commers of Donjek <br /> �., for the financial study of the alternate route at a cost of <br /> $8,580. The Council also requested to receive a proposal <br /> from Donjek to expand the study to include the through <br /> town route. (See excerpt from minutes below). <br /> Excerpt from April 3, 2007 Council minutes <br /> 6.6. Consider Hiring Consultant for Financial Analysis for Highway 371 <br /> The Mayor noted that the Council had reviewed a proposal for a financial <br /> study relating to the economic impact of the Highway 371 alternative route <br /> during the Highway 371 meeting prior to the Council meeting. The Council <br /> and Planning Commission also discussed the possibility of extending the <br /> study to include the through town route in order to get an accurate <br /> comparison of both routes. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br /> FROM DONJEK FOR THE FINANCIAL STUDY OF THE ALTERNATE <br /> ROUTE AT $8,580 WITH THE OPTION OF EXPANDING THE STUDY <br />
