HANDICAP RAMP AT COLE MEMORIAL BUILDING TO BE <br /> REMOVED BY LAKES AREA INTERFAITH CAREGIVERS - <br /> APPROVED <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> No one present for Open Forum <br /> 5. Presentations <br /> 5.1. A&B furniture — Proposal for Business Park Lot Purchase <br /> Elissa Rogers from BLADC introduced Brenda and Alan Wiener of A&B <br /> Furniture. Ms. Rogers noted that Brenda and Alan are interested in <br /> purchasing Lot 3, Block 4 of the Pequot Lakes Industrial Park. She noted <br /> that the Business Park Committee met to hear a proposal from A&B <br /> Furniture. The Business Park Committee unanimously recommended that <br /> the Council sell the lot to the Wieners. Brenda and Alan explained the <br /> nature of their business to the Council. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO <br /> MOVE FORWARD WITH THE SALE OF THE BUSINESS PARK LOT TO <br /> THE WIENERS. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Council Member Ryan noted that he would like to see a purchase <br /> agreement prior to authorizing the sale of the lot. The Clerk noted that she <br /> would provide a copy of the purchase agreement for Council review. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoninq Report <br /> Report by Dawn Bittner. <br /> 6.1. Special Meeting Stipend <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO PAY PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION MEMBERS AN ADDITIONAL $15.00 STIPEND EACH <br /> FOR ANY SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING MEETING THEY ATTEND <br /> RETROACTIVE TO JANUARY 1, 2007. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
