AGENDA ITEM #6 <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: April 17, 2007 <br /> Subject: First Responders <br /> Report: The First Responders requested a donation from <br /> the Council in August, 2006 (around budget time). The <br /> Council indicated it wanted more information prior to <br /> `- making a monetary commitment to the organization. The <br /> Council requested information on the organization's <br /> budget, membership, how the organization acquired money <br /> to operate, the service area, etc. The Council also noted that <br /> if a decision were made to donate funds, the money could <br /> come from the Council Contingency fund. <br /> Jeremie Bridge will be present to talk to the Council about <br /> this request. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council decision whether or <br /> not to donate funds to the First Responders. <br />
