Review of Purpose and Premise <br /> Based on the discussions from the last meeting,your staff has drafted the following <br /> statements that establish the purpose and the premise of the Study Group. <br /> The purpose of the Alternate Route Study Group is to study the issues and impacts of an <br /> easterly alternate route for Highway 371 so as to develop the best corridor alignment <br /> possible. <br /> The premise of the Study Group is based off of Council Resolution 06-23,which states <br /> that Trunk Highway 371 be re-routed to a corridor east of town. <br /> These statements are presented here for discussion purposes. <br />
