Maintenance Department Monthly Report <br /> December 2006 <br /> With the lack of snow, brushing of many more city streets has been done along with <br /> some ditch cleaning along some of the rural roads. <br /> Regarding the Swenson property, we have received a good report on the asbestos test <br /> which is required for all building demolition. The removal and clean-up of the building <br /> has been completed. In the spring, final removal of all concrete and leveling of the lot <br /> will be finalized. <br /> All safety equipment applied for in the grant has been purchased and received by the <br /> Street Department which includes traffic cones, street baracades, chain saw chaps and <br /> helmet. <br /> The snow plow approved last month has been installed on the Sewer Departments 1-ton <br /> and we have worked Tina into our snow plowing schedule. <br /> Meetings attended in December: <br /> Dec 4 City Council Meeting <br /> Dec 7 Pine River Wastewater District Members Meeting <br /> Dec 7 City Staff Meeting <br /> Dec 7 Swenson Property Closing <br /> Dec 9 Asbestos Inspector at Swenson Property <br /> Dec 11 Monthly Department Budget Meeting <br /> Dec 19 Group Safety Training at Nisswa City Hall <br /> Dec 21 Year End Council Meeting <br /> Dec 27 Mike Rude (WSN) Oak Street Project <br />
