. As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the Ordinance,we would like the
opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. We are requesting that by no
later than August 31,2006,you remove or properly store all exterior storage and
abandoned vehicles from this property.
Failure to comply with the Ordinance by August 31,2006,will prompt us to take more
aggressive action. This would likely include administrative fines for each day the
violation continues, civil action to obtain a court order directing you to comply with the
Ordinance and could potentially include criminal action. You will also be responsible to
reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in remedying this violation.
Having an un-maintained lawn, exterior storage and abandoned vehicles as depicted in
these photographs is not only an eyesore to the rest of the community, it is a health and
safety issue that we take very seriously. Please understand our seriousness and
commitment to uphold the Ordinances. We hope you will take this opportunity to work
with us and resolve this matter.
Sincerely,
Dawn Bittner
Zoning Administrator
Enc.
CC: Planning Commission
Sandy Peine, City Clerk
Jerry Brawn, Chief of Police
