The Ordinance states, in Section 11.8, subpart 1,that "Land Use Permits shall be issued for all new structures ...No person shall assemble, install ... any structure prior to applying for and receiving a Land Use Permit. " I have been to your property and taken the enclosed picture. If this picture accurately depicts your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of this provision of the Ordinance. I have enclosed a Land Use Application form. Please complete the application and return no later than January 13,2006, including all items highlighted on page 1. The after-the-fact fee will be determined after receiving the application and supporting information. Failure to comply with the Ordinance by January 13, 2006, will prompt us to take more aggressive action. This would likely include administrative fines for each day the violation continues, civil action to obtain a court order directing you to comply with the Ordinance and could potentially include criminal action. In addition, the Ordinance Wa"cs, in Section 7.1, subpart 7 D,that "Off-site signs are prohibited. "
