CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A REZONING IN THE AGRICULTURE DISTRICT TO THE RURAL RESIDENTIAL AND FOREST MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS MAY 18, 2006 6:30 P.M. AT CITY HALL 4638 COUNTY ROAD 11 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: The following will be the subject of a public hearing on May 18, 2006, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hearing: Rezoning. Applicant: City of Pequot Lakes, Stephen and Kathryn Saxvold, property owners. Property Description: Property is located at 5875 Akerson Road . Parcel ID's are: `-' 2901222001300009, 290122200A00009, 290122100B00009 and 290122 1 0OA00009. Purpose: Application is for rezoning in the Agriculture District to the Rural Residential and Forest Management zoning classifications. The City recently rezoned all properties within the City to be consistent with the adoption of the new Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance, but property owners had the option of requesting a separate public hearing for their individual properties. This public hearing is being held at the property owner's request, and the zoning classification listed is the City's proposed classification. All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and be heard or send written comments to City Hall. Copies of the permit, maps, drawings and staff report are available at City Hall at least one week prior to the hearing date. Copies of the Staff Report regarding this application are available at City Hall or on-line at www.communitygrowth.com.
