Box 292 Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 Re: City of Pequot Lakes Potential Ordinance Violation PIN: 291070090010009 through 291070090050009 and 2910700901,30009 through 291070090170009 30413 South Oak Street Dear Ms. Cummins: It has come to our attention through a complaint that you are likely in violation of the City's Ordinances regarding Maintenance. The Ordinance states, in Section 7.4, Maintenance, that "All structures shall be properly maintained in a clean and acceptable manner so as not to constitute a menace to the public health, safety, convenience, general welfare,property values and aesthetics. All landscaping shall be properly maintained so as to preserve planting in a live state and free of noxious weeds. " The Ordinance further states, in Section 7.6, subpart 1,Visual Standards, that "No use shall create, maintain or continue any activity or structure which has a strong negative visual impact or offends the morals or violates the standards of the City. " I have been to your property and taken the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately depict the condition of your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of these provisions of the Ordinance. As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the Ordinance we would like the opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. We are requesting that by no later than August 17,2007,you mow your grass and maintain a neat yard for the remainder of the season.
