He stated that although the Sign Ordinance has <br /> been in affect for quite some time, the City has received numerous complaints regarding <br /> the continued use and abuse of banners as a means of advertising. he real estate signs <br /> that were in violation were addressed earlier and have all beco co pliant. Mr. <br /> Marohn also recommended re-writing the recommendation }ded in the Staff Report <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Each parcel shall be allowed, for up to 14 days y 90 riod, temporary <br /> signs, including banners, streamers and p le signs for specia , ents, such as <br /> grand openings and promotions, provided \\\eet th ollowing: <br /> i.
