MINUTES JOINT WORK SESSION PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION JULY 19,2007 PRESENT: Mayor Malecha, Councilmen Nagel, Ryan, and Sjoblad; Planning Commission Members Woog,Adams, Habein, Williams and Der en. This map indicates 3 connection points, not 4,with the southern connection in the vicinity of County Roads 107 and 168. The Canniff family, who own the 40 acres west of the Fire Tower, had questions regarding the alternate route and their property. Roundabouts are an option for the connection points at the south end and at County Road 11. County Road 112 does not meet the warrants for one. The Paul Bunyan Trail and the highway would be grade separated,not at grade. The main issue for looking at an alternative route is safety. Correspondence: None.
