This letter is in response to your letter to Stacey and Karin Simons of July 6, 2007. I met with
Mr. Simons, who has provided me with a contour drawing prepared by his surveyor and which
we have used for illustrative purposes. We created a legend on the drawing.
With reference to your letter, the older mobile home was removed and replaced with a double-
wide trailer home by Mr. Simons. His plan with respect to the mobile home is to keep it and fix it
up,with work being completed by the end of next summer. Mr. Simons feels that this unit could
provide living quarters. There are windows and rough-sawn lumber located on the property. Mr.
Simons would like to use the rough-sawn lumber to construct a fence, which we have marked on
various portions of the drawing, to act as screening to the mobile home and motor vehicles from
Highway 112 and other areas where such items would be visible to neighbors.
The fence would be constructed with posts, 2x4's, Ix4's, and 1x12's placed vertically. Mr.
Simons first option would be to use the rough-sawn lumber. As a second alternative,he would
use pole barn metal. The windows currently located on the property would be moved to the area
of the mobile home. Mr. Simons plan is to incorporate these windows into the mobile home by
removing the old windows and replacing them.
There is also a boat that was mentioned in your letter. It is an old fiberglass boat which belonged
to Mr. Simons' grandfather. Mr. Simons plans to keep this. The fence would screen the boat from
view. There are also two snow plows in the vicinity of the mobile home which he uses to plow
snow in the winter. There are six motor vehicles on the property. Two will be fixed by fall and
driven out of the property. There is a Mazda which he has a part to put in it, and as soon as this
