Due to other
recent improvements to the property, the impervious surface coverage now exceeds the
maximum 25 percent allowed with a stormwater management plan by 2.4 percentage
points. A stormwater management plan is not in place on this property, so the
requirements of the ordinance are actually exceeded by 7.4 percentage points.
Staff is recommending this violation be resolved by the following actions:
i. The garage is removed or relocated to conform to the Ordinance and meet side
yard setbacks,
2. Impervious surface coverage is reduced to fall under the 25 percent maximum
allowed,
3. A stormwater management plan is submitted to allow impervious coverage over
20%, up to 25%. The plan, once approved, shall be implemented by the property
owner.
Pequot Lakes Staff Report 3(c)-3
August 21,2008
