The Crafters Mall cannot begin construction until comments are received from MnDOT. Mr. Helbling has met with MnDOT engineers and they have made no recommendations. He stated this could be handled through the CUP. Finding of fact to support motion: Comments indicate the City has insufficient information to make determination,postpone determination for 30 days and require comments from MnDOT. SCOTT PEDERSON ARRIVED AT 7:17 p.m. Development west in Cass County is also increasing traffic at this intersection. ROLL CALL VOTE: Mr. Habein: Nay; Mr. Williams: Aye; Mr. Adams: Aye; Mr. Hallan: Nay;Mr. Varilek: Nay; Mr. Pederson: Abstained; Mr. Derksen: Aye; Mr. Woog: Aye. Motion to table carried. 4—3. The need for better answers from MnDOT is not the developers fault. APPLICANT: Dan Helbling Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for the RV Resort Village at the Preserve. Applicant was present. Mr. Marohn explained the Staff Report. Corrections were made to the findings of fact and conditions. Staff needs written comments from the City and the County regarding road improvements. A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by John Derksen,to table this matter. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. APPLICANT: Dan Helbling Applicant requests Preliminary Plat of the RV Resort Village at the Preserve. A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Tom Adams,to table this matter. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. APPLICANT: Dan Couture, Stellar Properties of Minnesota,LLC Applicant requests to rezone from Forest Management to Commercial. Mr. Couture made a written request to have this matter tabled until the August Planning Commission meeting. A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Dean Williams,to table this matter.
