Roll Call <br /> Commission: Bill Habein, Dean Williams,Tom Adams,Tom Woog(chair),Mark Hallan, Roger <br /> Varilek, Scott Pederson,John Derksen <br /> Staff. Charles Marohn, City Planner <br /> 3. Public Hearings <br /> Conditional Use Permit for Helicopter Ride Operation,Ace Helicopters, LLC,Application 07-25 <br /> Marohn presents the staff report. <br /> Applicant is present. States that they have nothing to add to the Staff Report. <br /> Williams states a point of order requesting an interpretation on-whether or not this is an airport. <br /> Discussion on this item. <br /> Woog indicates that he would like to allow for public comment prior to any further discussion on <br /> this issue. <br /> Dan Doty, Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, speaking against the CUP. Concerns with <br /> the noise and the impact on the church. <br /> Joanne Bolter, East Twin Lake Association, agrees with the safety issues of the traffic at the <br /> intersection. Concerned with the noise over residential property. Is opposed to the permit. <br /> Presents a letter on behalf of the Association. <br /> Woog enters a letter from the Sibley Lake Association into the record. <br /> Eric Peterson,representing Grand View Lodge and the Preserve,has the same concerns <br /> regarding traffic. Would like to see adjustment made for the Outlet Mall traffic before more is <br /> added. Would be disruptive to the golfers at their facility. <br /> Myron Grahams,residents from the Evergreen Complex,reiterates concerns of safety and noise. <br /> Joan Molberg,states that her property is east of where this is proposed to be. If they do not go <br /> over the highway,they would go over her house. <br /> Sherry Dardin, on behalf of George Hall,states that she is against this. Lives in the close <br /> vicinity. <br />
