Mr. Williams asked where they were with the R/W process for the through town option? <br /> Mr. Hukriede stated they had looked at different scenarios. <br /> Mr. Williams asked if it would be worth getting the numbers? <br /> Mr. Ryan stated he understood there was already"controlled" access. Maybe there could <br /> be some compensation for reorientation, but not for access? Mr. Hukriede stated there <br /> could have been some partial controlled access issues that may impact damages and <br /> consideration during appraisal. <br /> Mr. Williams stated that with the through town option, the access was closing by Oasis. <br /> Mr. Hukriede stated they would look at change in property value. Loss of business can <br /> be a factor,too. <br /> Mr. Williams asked if MnDOT got to calculations for properties? Mr. Hukriede stated <br /> they did do some estimating on old laws, but not with the new laws. <br /> Mr. Bray stated MnDOT's cost for new R/W vs. buying through town"R/W and <br /> business" impacts was about equal. Mr. Hukriede thought it was further apart, but not a <br /> significant percentage, R/W-wise. <br /> Everyone would like to get further information from MnDOT. Mr. Marohn will get more <br /> information from MnDOT. <br /> ➢ Roundabout Video—Mr. Bray stated that all intersection approaches, lights, etc. <br /> need to be evaluated for appropriateness. <br /> Mr. Ryan asked if there were volume limitations? Mr. Bray said yes. <br /> Mr. Ryan asked if there would be snow impacts?
