The agreement is proposed by the committee established to discuss this matter, including: - Darrell Lake, - Lonny Thomas, - Scott Pederson, - Roger Varilek, - Charles Marohn, and - Dawn Bittner. Number 8 was discussed. A motion was made by Mark Hallan, seconded by Roger Varilek,to approve this agreement as modified, numbers 1, 2, 3, 4& 6. ROLL CALL VOTE: Mr. Williams: Aye; Mr. Varilek: Aye; Mr. Hallan: Aye; Mr. Pederson: Aye; Mr. Derksen: Nay. Motion carried 4— 1. ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: 6. b. Region Five Invitation. Region Five Development Commission has invited the four communities along the Highway 371 expansion to a meeting on April 4 at Hunt Technologies from 6:00—8:00 p.m. They felt each community would have an opportunity to share thoughts, issues and concerns. After discussion it was the consensus of the Planning Commission that Pequot Lakes has an outstanding committee that meets twice a month to discuss the alternate route and should continue to meet as scheduled. OPEN FORUM: None. OLD BUSINESS: a. Park Dedication: Ms. Barajas explained the Staff Report. There should be 2 changes to the last sentence on page 5-5, $38,440 should be $34,920 and $17,258 should be $10,554. Staff was directed to bring back proposed language and a public hearing will be held at a later date. Staff will also bring the Park map that was created for the Park Board. We need to develop a Park Plan. Lakeshore has a very nice plan online. Page 5-2, change $480 to $390. The seasonal population was discussed in#8 and should be factored in. We can use the seasonal housing from the census. The 2.2 only includes permanent residents. Seasonal population would be added to the 2.2. Staff will bring back the seasonal number.
