Mr. Reese stated the MN Dept of Health regulates pools . Pool would be <br /> licensed to operate? It is Mr. Reese's understanding the pool and spa would have to be <br /> inspected as a public facility. Don't know of a license that is required. Mr. Adams <br /> would like to know that. Mr. Reese will submit that information. <br /> 6246 Inland Trails Road, Phil Reichenbach, has fire safety with boats and gas been <br /> discussed? <br /> Ann Beaver,the CUP application said one purpose to create location of second beach. If <br /> you don't deal it specifically,table or something, it will happen. Chairman Woog stated <br /> that this issue will be addressed as a condition. <br /> Mr. Marohn stated he added Finding of Fact#44 to read as follows: the second beach as <br /> requested by applicant is not approved with this CUP. Mr. Williams stated it may not be <br /> appropriate as a Finding of Fact. Mr. Marohn added as Condition 16: Second beach is <br /> not allowed with this approval. <br /> Mr. Habein stated that the site plan indicates 4 wells and the fire department has <br /> suggested hydrants for fire fighting. Otherwise,they will have to shuttle water with <br /> tankers. He also said it could be beneficial for insurance for the owners. What size wells <br /> do you propose? Mr. Reese stated 6"or 5"at each site. These wells will supply water <br /> for entire development. They had received the letter as well. They propose to put a <br /> hydrant on drain for pool, 16,000- 18.000 gallons, for fire protection. Mr. Habein asked <br /> why they were opposed to hydrants. Mr. Reese stated they are not opposed to hydrants, <br /> but the locations of the wells are somewhat remote and the pool facility is centralized. <br /> Storage buildings and screening: 30' setback buffer area, could you make that a 40' <br /> buffer and plant a staggered row of spruce or balsam? Mr. Habein asked if the screening <br /> of the storage buildings could be increased to 40 feet and plant a staggered row of spruce <br /> or balsam? Mr. Miller stated there is 30' natural tree growth. <br /> Mr. Williams asked if Lots 7 & 8 are moving out of tier 3 and into tier 2, some closer to <br /> water body? Chad Connor, WSN, stated they are moving into tier 2. The pool is an <br /> addition. Increase in impervious surface in tier 2, adding about 2%more. Staff <br /> comments referring to acreage and impervious coverage need to be modified. Mr. <br /> Williams asked if the owner's association documents will need to be changed. Mr. Miller <br /> stated the new documents will be submitted for review at the next meeting. When asked, <br /> the placement of the docks is part of discussion with DNR. The storage units are not <br /> included in vegetation plan. No colors have been recommended. Mr. Hallan wanted to <br /> clarify the number of storage units is 46. The Staff Report states the proposed number is <br /> 80, 46 now, with the intent to build more. Mr. Miller stated the number is 80,phased in. <br /> Mr. Williams stated the lift station left of#9 & 10,the 2" force main runs close or <br /> through a wetland. Mr. Reese stated the existing trail is where force main would be <br /> located. Intent is to not disturb vegetation. Directional bore is also being contemplated. <br /> High density poly, doesn't need to be double walled.
