We may want to prevent massive parking lots. We could simplify by using just <br /> minimums. In the Downtown Mixed Use zone critical tax base could be lost when it is <br /> used for parking. Parking is addressed in Section 17-5.13, Light Industrial zone, and <br /> should not be included in Section 17-7.10. <br /> A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Bill Habein,to amend Section 17-7.10 <br /> as follows: <br /> Section 17-7.10 PARKING <br /> 1. General. Onsite parking or garage space shall be provided in all Districts, <br /> except as specifically exempted. There shall be adequate drive access to prevent <br /> the need to back onto collector streets or County Highways. Onsite parking spaces <br /> shall not be used for storage. <br /> 2. Dimensions.
