City of AGENDA ITEM #9.4 <br /> Pequott <br /> Lakes <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Tim Houle <br /> Date: June 7, 2016 <br /> Subiect: Facility Addition Feasibility Study <br /> Report: As directed, WSN studied the option of <br /> expanding the existing City Hall building to the north to <br /> provide more space for Public Works. We also reviewed <br /> the possibility of a separate Public Works facility. Just to <br /> note, these were study-level reviews; not even preliminary <br /> design-level. In the report, we have tried to highlight those <br /> compliant and non-compliant items in the existing building. <br /> As indicated, if the existing building was expanded, there <br /> are some non-compliant that would then need to be <br /> addressed. <br /> The estimated costs for both approaches are presented. Not <br /> surprisingly, the addition, while involving a lot of money, <br /> is less expensive overall than a new facility on a new site. <br /> Interestingly, the cost per square foot between the two is <br /> not significantly different.
