Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the <br /> Zoning Department: <br /> There were no permits issued in January. <br /> *** Permit applications through January, 2009 are 0, compared with 4 for 2008, 6 <br /> for 2007, 3 for 2006, 9 for 2005 and 7 for 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. East Twin Lake Shoreland Grand Newsletter. <br /> 2. Mayson's Grille regarding signs. <br /> 3. Wilderness Resort Villas, Final Plat approval. <br /> 4. Thomas and Janice Link, Variance reconsideration request. <br /> 5. Thomas Cowell, County Land Commissioner, regarding tax forfeit lots. <br /> 6. Melissa Barrick, SWCD, local water management plan. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on <br /> the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these <br /> each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. <br /> 1. James and Barbara Whitty— (6/04) <br /> 2. Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved <br /> violations on his parcel. (5105) <br /> 3. Virgil Dahl—Staff and the Police Chief will continue to meet with Mr. <br /> Dahl until his exterior storage issues are resolved. (10/06) <br /> 4. Stacey and Karin Simons—Mr. and Mrs. Simons are moving forward with <br /> their plan to construct the fences. (7/07) <br /> 5. Robert Swenson—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. The truck, <br /> converted bus and RV remain parked along the alley. No response from <br /> Mr. Swenson. (8/07) <br /> 6. Patrick Greer—The tenant at his property has refuse, debris and exterior <br /> storage. Mr. Greer has been contacted about remaining debris. (12/07) <br /> 7. Elaine Yablonsky, Boardwalk Scoops—Constructed a fence and placed a <br /> freezer unit in City ROW without a permit. (7/07) <br /> February, 2009 Staff Report Page 1 <br />
