Zoning Administrator's Report A. November Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. Steve Quisberg, 30497 State Highway 371, for a grocery store; 2. David Anderson, 31086 North Heath Street, for a porch; 3. Michael Westaway, 3708 Fox Lane, for a fence. *** Permit applications through November, 2009 are 70, compared with 97 for 2008, 115 for 2007, 111 for 2006, 144 for 2005 and 160 for 2004! B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: 1. November 18 letter to Mike Pestello regarding car lot; 2. December 8 letter to Thomas Link regarding deadline to move garage; 3. December 8 letter to Elaine May regarding Link garage; 4. December 8 letter to Kline Funeral Home regarding light; 5. December 8 letter to Donald Babinski regarding rezone approval. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. 1. James and Barbara Whitty— This property has been sold. Staff is working with the new owner to resolve the issues from the 2004 violation. (6/04) 2. Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved violations on his parcel. (5105) 3. Virgil Dahl—Staff and the Police Chief will continue to meet with Mr. Dahl until his exterior storage issues are resolved. (10/06) 4. Robert Swenson—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Only two vehicles remain along the alley,the refuse has been removed and most of the exterior storage has been removed.. No response from Mr. Swenson. (8/07) 5. Elaine Yablonsky, Boardwalk Scoops—Constructed a fence and placed a freezer unit in City ROW without a permit. New owner is aware and has been contacted again.
