I was out of town yesterday and went straight to the City Council meeting. I saw your Email on my phone/pda, but did not review it. Your schedule was handed out to the Council. Some comments: + The original letter we sent indicated grass needed to be growing by August 15th. The Council did not see this on the schedule. They asked if you would be using sod. One way or another, please adjust your schedule or work tasks to ensure grass is growing (not just sod placed the day before with no roots grabbing hold yet) by August 15th. + The Council said that if all the work was not done by August 15th, the City will take whatever legal recourse available to them (they do not want date after date to slide). + You need to test backfill compaction and provide all other testing to ensure properly completed work, + Please contact Mike Loven at the City at least 3 days before you go on site for any work to coordinate all work (including the above testing). + A reminder: the one-year correction period starts again on these corrections (estimated conclusion, then, would be August 15, 2010).
