What is your opinion on the concept of industrial park expansion? <br /> • Get some signage on Highway 371 to show businesses located in the industrial <br /> park. Allow companies to have more signage on buildings. No one knows the <br /> industrial park exists! <br /> • Fill up the existing one first. (3) <br /> • Current Industrial Park expansion has already been paid for by property sales. It <br /> has also increased the tax base significantly. <br /> • The city should first promote the Industrial Park. <br /> • Encourage business development to increase the tax base. <br /> • We should first maximize what we have, but I agree this is a good future <br /> investment. <br /> • Utilities are vital for development in the Industrial Park. Recently approved <br /> "Sentinel"plat would not have happened without utilities being in place. <br /> Prioritize <br /> If the City finds that there is simply not enough money for all of the proposed <br /> projects, which project do you believe is most important to the future of <br /> Pequot Lakes? <br /> Providing Sewer and water utilities along the new Highway 371 alignment: (3) <br /> Providing parking and pedestrian enhancements to the Downtown during <br /> maintenance projects: (34) <br /> Expansion of the Industrial Park: (6) <br /> None of these are important: (1) <br /> Comments? <br /> • Parking and Downtown enhancements will pay the best dividend in the long and <br /> short term. <br /> • Additional parking is our least important need in downtown right now.
