They would be allowed 64 square feet of signage, plus an
additional 8 square feet for a multi-tenant sign.
They are proposing a 44 square foot sign facing the streets with a 12 sq. ft. reader board
on the back. "The City Code states in Section 17-7.140 that`All flashing, revolving and
intermittently lighted signs and all portable signs are prohibited, except as specifically
allowed in this section."
The proposed reader board would only be visible to patrons of American National Bank
using their drive-thru.
A representative of American National Bank will be present to discuss what options the
bank may have in order to place the requested reader board.
t is
Pequot Lakes Staff Report 6(b)-1
August 20,2009
