Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. November Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month <br /> by the Zoning Department: <br /> ➢ There were no permits issued in November. <br /> *** Permit applications through November, 2010 are 60, compared with 70 for 2009, <br /> 97 for 2008, 115 for 2007, 111 for 2006, 144 for 2005 and 160 for 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. November 24 letter to Loretta Hillier,Attorney for Lloyd Wass, requesting <br /> timeframe for completion; <br /> 2. November 24 letter to Dale and Ione Olson informing them of the Planning <br /> Commissions resolution of shoreline alteration; <br /> 3. December 6 Memo to the Police Department thanking them for their help this past <br /> `-' year. A box of candy and basket of fruit accompanied Memo. <br /> 4. December 6 letter to David Lind advising him of the Variance approval; <br /> 5. December 8 letter to Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC extending review period 60 <br /> days. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City staff is <br /> currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will <br /> report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved violations <br /> on his parcel. (5105) <br /> ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> (10/06) <br /> ➢ Peterson, Gary—Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA <br /> and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) <br /> ➢ Thomas and Janice Link—Constructed garage in side yard setback. Their <br /> Variance Reconsideration request was approved at the March meeting. Staff will <br /> monitor. (6/08) <br /> December, 2010 Staff Report Page 1 <br />
