Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. August Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by <br /> the Zoning Department: <br /> 1. Gerald Calhoun, 5810 Sibley Lake Road, for a deck addition; <br /> 2. Darrell Fuhr, 27148 Loon Point, for an accessory structure and additions to <br /> dwelling. <br /> *** Permit applications through August, 2010 are 46, compared with 49 for 2009, <br /> 77 for 2008, 91 for 2007, 85 for 2006, 115 for 2005 and 104 for 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. August 17 Cease and Desist Order to Dale and Ione Olson; <br /> 2. August 17 letter to Dale and lone Olson regarding Shoreline Alteration; <br /> 3. August 19 letter to L &J Investments regarding appeal of Dog Boarding CUP <br /> decision; <br /> 4. August 20 letter to Mr. aifd Mrs. Randy Branstad regarding resolution of the <br /> Whitty violation; <br /> 5. August 23 letter to Lonny Thomas regarding appeal of Dog Boarding CUP; <br /> 6. August 24 letter to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Link regarding storm water plan; <br /> �. 7. August 25 letter to Robert Swenson resolving land use violation; <br /> 8. August 30 letter to Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union regarding approval of <br /> the CUP request to increase impervious surface; <br /> 9. August 30 letter to Ken Larson, MN/DOT, regarding trees in ROW for Mid- <br /> Minnesota Federal Credit Union; <br /> 10. August 31 letter to Roy and Nancy Krasean regarding return of Land Use Permit <br /> application; <br /> 11. September 1 letter to Dan Helbling requesting attendance at September Planning <br /> Commission meeting; <br /> 12. September 3 letter to Randon Johnson regarding uncompleted dwelling and <br /> landscaping. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is <br /> currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will <br /> report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ James and Barbara Whitty— The new owners have completed all of the <br /> necessary restoration,their yard looks spectacular and the lake is crystal clear. <br /> We consider this matter resolved!
