COMMUM T Y 01y }t <br /> INSTITUTE La S <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Agenda Item:7(a) <br /> Background Information: The Developer of the RV Resort Village at the Preserve <br /> would like to discuss with the Planning Commission why types of"recreational vehicles" <br /> are allowed to utilize the RV Park. The developer, Dan Helbling, was under the <br /> assumption that permanent park models would be able to be placed at the RV Park. <br /> Mr. Helbling has indicated that he will be in attendance. <br /> Section 17-3.2 of the land use ordinance defines"Recreational Vehicle"as follows: <br /> Recreational Vehicle. Vehicles for recreational use that can be driven,towed or <br /> hauled. These vehicles are designed to be temporary living space for camping or <br /> travel use. RVs shall include travel trailers, camper trailers,truck campers, self- <br /> propelled motor homes and other similar vehicles. <br /> The Planning Commission has requested that meeting minutes from the previous <br /> Planning Commission Meetings regarding the RV Resort Village be included with the <br /> Staff Report.
