The signage on the building fagade meets the requirements of the City Code and <br /> is approved. <br /> 2. Signs are not allowed on accessory structures and the gas canopy is considered an <br /> accessory structure. Property owners wishing to display more signs than what are <br /> allowed may obtain permission to do so by Conditional Use Permit. This <br /> application is available on line. The fee for a CUP is$450.00 plus a$46.00 <br /> recording fee. If you wish to apply for this CUP, please contact me to determine <br /> submittal dates. <br /> 3. The freestanding sign as submitted meets the requirements for buildings located <br /> in a 45 mile per hour speed zone or higher. SuperValu has requested that <br /> MN/DOT reduce the speed to 35 miles per hour. Please submit a new drawing <br /> meeting the following requirements: <br /> "Buildings located in a less than 45 mile per hour speed zone are allowed up to <br /> 64 square feet of freestanding sign and,for multi-business buildings, are allowed <br /> an additional 8 square feet for each business after the first. The sign may not <br /> exceed 10 feet in height.
