Nelson
3951 Brown Street
Pequot Lakes, MN 56472
Re: City of Pequot Lakes
Potential City Code Violation
PIN: 291000010042009
Dear Mr. and Mrs.Nelson:
Thank you for stopping at City Hall to discuss the Potential City Code Violation of
keeping too many dogs. We have not received the letters from your neighbors that you
mentioned would be sent on your behalf. The Planning Commission did discuss this
matter at their April 15 meeting. It seems that noise from barking is an issue and that you
should take steps to minimize the barking. The Planning Commission suggested the use
of bark collars or obedience training.
Please submit in writing your plan to minimize the noise from the barking of the dogs to
me at City Hall no later than June 1,2010.
Sincerely,
Dawn Bittner
Zoning Administrator
C: Planning Commission
Jerry Braam, Chief of Police
4638 CoLwrY Rona 11 • PEQuoT Lags, MN 56472 • (218) 568-5222 • FAX: (218) 568-5860 • www.pequotlakes-mn.gov
