I am a <br /> Minnesota Class A certified wastewater operator and provide contract operations services to MPCA- <br /> permitted facilities. I am the wastewater operator of record for Evergreen Estates and have been <br /> providing wastewater facility operations,maintenance and management services to the Townhome <br /> Association since October 2009. <br /> Because the design flow of the facility is over 10,000 gallons per day,the Minnesota Pollution Control <br /> Agency does not classify the wastewater facility as an ISTS. It is classified as a permitted wastewater <br /> facility and is issued an NPDES permit. As a permitted facility, ISIS requirements do not apply. <br /> This past fall, I inspected all of the septic tanks for the two drainfield systems that are in use. I found <br /> both systems to be in good condition. The first tank in a series of four septic tanks will be pumped by <br /> a certified septage pumper this coming spring. <br /> The main lift station was also serviced by Braun Pump, Inc., a professional pump and controls <br /> company this past fall. The lift station and controls were found to be in good`condition. Evergreen <br /> Estates passed a motion at their last Annual Meeting to have Braun Pump service the station annually. <br /> If you have any questions,feel free to contact me. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> N.D.
