Zoning Administrator's Report A. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. There were no Land Use Permits issued in January,2010. ***Permit applications through January,2010 are 3,compared with 0 for 2009,4 for 2008, 6 for 2007,3 for 2006, 9 for 2005 and 7 for 2004! B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence sine the last meeting: 1. Letter from Kris Sivanich received January 20; 2. January 20 Memo to Chief Braam,regarding Kristine Sivanich; 3. January 25'email to Pat Trottier at Landecker and Associates requesting information; 4. February 9 letter to Beverly Rathcke regarding Metes and Bounds Subdivision. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. ➢ James and Barbara Whitty— This property has been sold. Staff is working with the new owner to resolve the issues from the 2004 violation. (6/04) ➢ Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved violations on his parcel. (5105) ➢ Virgil Dahl—Staff and the Police Chief will continue to meet with Mr.Dahl until his exterior storage issues are resolved. (10/06) ➢ Robert Swenson—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Only two vehicles remain along the alley,the refuse has been removed and most of the exterior storage has been removed. No response from Mr. Swenson. (8/07) I ➢ Elaine Yablonsky,Boardwalk Scoops—Constructed a fence and placed a freezer unit in City ROW without a permit. New owner plans to comply before the 2010 tourist season.
