Zoning Administrator's Report A. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC, 6316 Wilderness Road, for a new dwelling; 2. Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC, 6316 Wilderness Road, for a new dwelling. *** Permit applications through January, 2011 are 4, compared with 3 for 2010, 0 for 2009, 4 for 2008, 6 for 2007, 3 for 2006, 9 for 2005 and 7 for 2004! B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: 1. January 27 letter to Kaj Reiter, Leroy Signs, regarding digital sign application; 2. January 27 letter to Steve Quisberg returning CUP application for digital signs; 3. February 1 letter to Brad Busbey,Anderson Bros.,regarding former Derfler Pit; 4. February 1 letter to Wilderness Resort Villas, LLC, regarding 60-day extension; 5. February 3 Memo to Park Board requesting comments on Comp Plan update; 6. February 7 letter to John and Barbara Derksen regarding snowmobiles; 7. February 7 letter to Loretta Hillier requesting construction completion date for Lloyd Wass. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. ➢ Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved violations on his parcel. (5105) ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. (10/06) ➢ Peterson, Gary—Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) ➢ Thomas and Janice Link—Constructed garage in side yard setback.
