Please know it <br /> certainly was never the City's intent to hurt feelings or cause controversy. If that has <br /> happened, and I understand that it has,please accept my apology: <br /> As we talked about during our phone conversation we at the P &Z have a responsibility <br /> to uphold our ordinances and act on complaints. Part of that action includes an onsite <br /> visit, which was done before the first letter was sent. A second follow-up visit was done <br /> resulting in the second letter you received thanking you for your action concerning the <br /> weeds. <br /> You make a very good point that the initial letter comes across a bit too harsh especially <br /> for a first time violation claim. In direct response to your suggestion,we will be <br /> reviewing the content and language of our violation letter.
