Zoning Administrator's Report A. April Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: 1. Clearwater Creek Outfitters, 31002 Government Drive, for a sign; 2. Jon Fogarty, 5936 N. Sluetter Road, for shoreline alteration; 3. Kevin&Junell Wendt, 5853 Wild Acres Road, for a deck; 4. Julie Anderson,P 3 13 48 Front Street, for a garage; *** Permit applications through April, 2011 are 16, compared with 22 for 2010, 12 for 2009, 24 for 2008, 27 for 2007, 31 for 2006, 35 for 2005 and 32 for 2004! B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: 1. April 28 letter from MN/DOT regarding RV Resort entrance; 2. April 28 email from MN/DOT regarding RV Resort entrance; 3. May 2 response from City Planner to MN/DOT regarding RV Resort entrance; 4. May 2 letter to Patrick Smith regarding approval for smaller sign; 5. May 3 letter to Kimberly Ziesemer requesting sample signs; 6. May 3 letter to Raymond Johnson regarding Ordinance Amendment Request; 7. May 3 letter to Loretta Joy Hillier regarding construction completion for Lloyd Wass; 8. May 4 letter to Steve Quisberg regarding CUP approval. C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. ➢ Thomas Tulenchik—Mr. Tulenchik has been advised of the unresolved violations on his parcel. (5/05) ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. (10/06) ➢ Peterson, Gary-Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) ➢ Thomas and Janice Link—Constructed garage in side yard setback.
