City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes <br /> May 18, 2011 <br /> Lonesome Real Estate LLC <br /> 29468 State Highway 371 <br /> Pequot Lakes,MN 56472 <br /> Re: Septic System Compliance Inspection <br /> PIN: 290233100AA0009 <br /> Dear Mr. Andersen: <br /> In accordance with the authority granted in Minnesota Statute Section 115.55 and 115.56 <br /> and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 145,the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency provides <br /> the minimum standards and criteria for individual sewage treatment systems, and thus <br /> protects the surface and ground waters of the state and promotes the public health, safety <br /> and general welfare. <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes City Code, Section 17-7.7,adopted March 3, 2008, <br /> incorporates Minnesota Chapter 7080 with additional restrictions adopted by Crow Wing <br /> County Ordinance Article 37. Article 37 states a mandatory Compliance Inspection of <br /> existing septic systems is required when any of the following conditions occur: <br /> 1. When applying for a Zoning Permit and the Certificate of Installation is <br /> more than five years old or the Certificate of Compliance is more than three <br /> years old. <br /> 2. Within ninety(90) days of a Certificate of Real Estate Value or Warranty Deed or <br /> Trust being filed with a property dependent on an on-site septic system and the <br /> Certificate of Installation is more than five years old or the Certificate of <br /> Compliance is more than three years old. <br /> 3. Any time the Planning and Zoning Department deems appropriate. <br /> 4. Any addition to a residence or accessory structure on the property, or variance to <br /> an existing septic system. <br /> 5.
