Park Board Minutes <br />June 14, 2012 <br />Page 2 <br />------------------------- <br />� <br />The Commission toured the park. Suggestions on improvements to the <br />park include: <br />• Raising the tire swing <br />• Adding signage on 371 — for park recognition <br />• Horseshoe pit <br />• Bike Path from the Paul Bunyan Trail to the park <br />• Cut the brush around the Poplar trees <br />• Remove the steps by the old dock site <br />• Add garbage receptacles <br />• Replace existing steps and side rails <br />The Park Commission noted that the large expense would be the <br />replacement of the existing steps and side rails. This would more than <br />likely be a capital expense. <br />5. Other Business <br />Discussion was held regarding the bushes located on the Northeast <br />corner of Trailside Park. The Commission would like to consider cutting <br />`, them down. The Commission indicated that this should be reviewed in the <br />fall. <br />10. Adiournment <br />There being no further business, COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD MOVED <br />TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER BONICATTO <br />SECON�ED THE MOTION.
