Staff Recommendation: The approval of a Sign Concept Plan is at the discretion of <br /> �. the Planning Commission. Since the existing Code limits the amount of signage in the <br /> Rural Residential zone to 32 sq. ft., we cannot recommend that the application be <br /> approved, as proposed. <br /> If the Planning Commission approves the concept plan, we recommend consideration to <br /> the following conditions: <br /> i. The surface area of the new signage shall not exceed the surface area of the <br /> existing signage(37.78 sq.ft.). <br /> 2. The lighting of the sign shall be downward directional and hooded. <br /> 3.
