Luchka 3959 West Sibley Street Pequot Lakes,MN 56472 Re: City of Pequot Lakes Potential Ordinance Violation PIN: 291100020010009—291100020030009 Dear Ms. Luchka: It has come to our attention through a complaint again that you are likely in violation of the City Code relating to Exterior Storage, Maintenance and Visual Standards. The City Code states in Section 17-7.4 MAINTENANCE that "All structures shall be properly maintained in a clean and acceptable manner so as not to constitute a menace to the public health, safety, convenience, general welfare,property values and aesthetics. All landscaping shall be properly maintained so as to preserve planning in a live state and free of noxious weeks. " The City Code finther states in Section 17-715 (B)EXTERIOR STORAGE that "Where there is a principle or accessory structure, all materials and equipment shall be stored within a building or fully screened so as not to be visible from adjoining properties... The City Code ftu-ther states in Section 17-7.6 VISUAL STANDARDS that "No use shall create, maintain or continue any activity or structure which as a strong negative visual impact or offends the morals or violates the standards of the City." I have been to your property and taken the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately depict the condition of your property, I would have to find that you are in violation of these provisions of the City Code. As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the City Code,we would like the opportunity to work with you to correct the situation.
