2 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 14-06,SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING VEGETATION REMOVAL <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF"'CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> i <br /> j <br /> x <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 <br /> of the Pequot Lakes City Code regarding"Vegetation Removal." <br /> r <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Section 3.2 "Definitions," Section 5.15 "Land Use Matrix," <br /> Section 5.2 "Open Space (OS)," Section 5.5 "Agriculture(AG)," Section 5.6"Rural <br /> Residential(RR)," Section 5.13 "Light Industrial (LI),"and Section 5.14 "Recreation <br /> (R)." shall be amended as follows: <br /> i <br /> Section 17-3.2. DEFINITIONS <br /> i <br /> 246. Vegetation Removal,Clear Cutting. The complete removal of trees or <br /> shrubs in a continuous path, strip row or block, excluding that clearing <br /> needed for the construction of roads, driveways, walkways or permitted <br /> stairways, lifts or landings. <br /> 247. Vegetation Removal,Intensive. The removal of more than 50%and up <br /> to 100%of a stand of trees and brush over 10 feet in height on a lot or <br /> parcel of land up to 40 acres. <br /> Section 17-5.15 LAND USE MATRIX <br /> LISE FM WR TR DMLI SC HR <br /> Section 17-5.2 OPEN SPACE (OS) <br /> 5.
