ORDINANCE NO. 08, SECOND SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING APPEALS PROCESS CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES COUNTY OF CROW WING STATE OF MINNESOTA The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to sign concept plans. Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 11 shall be amended as follows: Section 17-11.2 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT 2. Duties of the Board of Adjustment. A. To consider appeals from the action of the Zoning Administrator wherein the Board will take the authority of the Administrator. Said appeals shall be filed with the City Clerk within ninety (90) d4ys of the decision. The Board of Adjustment will hear M Appeal within sixty (60) days of the Zoning Administrator's action. Section 17-11.5 CITY COUNCIL 1. The City Council shall have the following duties under this Chapter: C. To decide within the required time frame the following: (5) To hear appeals from the actions of the Board of Adjustment and the Planning Commission where their action is normally final. Said appeals shall be filed with the City Clerk within ninety 90) days of the decision. Said appeals shall be heard within sixty 60) days of the Planning Commission or the Board of Adjustment action and the city shall re-notify anyone noticed for the public hearing at which the decision was made. Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 2nd day of October, 2012. Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and publication according to state law. Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith.
