ORDINANCE NO. 09-03, SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15,ARTICLE 2 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> RELATING TO WATER REGULATIONS <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent. The purpose and intent of this ordinance amendment is to amend <br /> Chapter 15 of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to Water Regulations within the City <br /> of Pequot Lakes. <br /> Amendment. Chapter 15,Article 2, shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 15-2.7—Billing <br /> All bills for water service furnished and supplied by the city shall be payable monthly, by <br /> the 23�last day of each month. Meter readings will be taken and billings sent to <br /> customers on or about the first week of each month. <br /> Section 15-2.7 (1)—Landlords and Tenants <br /> 1. Landlords and Tenants—Landlords who are owners of property shall be <br /> responsible for tenants' utility charges. Utility bills will be sent to the Landlord. <br /> The Landlord as owner of the property, will be responsible for all aspects of the <br /> utility account including gup the account, requesting to have the water <br /> turned on or off, requesting_changes to the account, and responsible for paying the <br /> City for said charges. <br /> Effective Date. This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after passage and publication according to state law. <br /> Repeal. This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council on April 7, 2009. <br /> -AZ' <br /> Nancy A.
