PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br />� THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2012 <br />CITY HALL <br />Members Present: Commissioners Jeff Bruch, Dena Doughty, Karen Ettesvold, <br />Patty Bonicatto, and Chair Pete Clement <br />Also Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public Works <br />Supervisor; and Council Member Cathy Malecha <br />1. Call Meetinq to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Clement. <br />2. Welcome New Park Commission Member <br />Chair Clement introduced Patty Bonicatto who was recent{y appointed to <br />fill the vacancy on the Commission. <br />3. 4/12/2012 Park Commission Minutes <br />COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO APPROVE THE 4/12/12 PARK <br />COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />� <br />4. Update on Memorial Tree <br />Commissioner Ettesvold stated that she has been working with <br />Commissioner Bo�nicato and the Tree House Nursery in determining the <br />style. Qf tree, or trees, to plant as a memorial to Del Anderson. She said <br />that she has some ideas but would like the Park Commission to approve <br />the location. The Park Commission decided to visit Trailside Park to assist <br />in determining the location of the tree. <br />Commissioner Ettesvold stated that there is a possibility that a family may <br />be interested in donating money toward a playground or splash park. The <br />Commissioners discussed possible locations, but no decision was made. <br />Mike Loven informed the Commission that the City is working with the <br />DNR regarding ownership of the park. <br />5. Update on Plantinct Flowers in Bobber Park <br />Commissioner Ettesvold stated that she will be working toward getting the <br />flowers in the flower pots by Memorial Weekend. <br />� <br />
