� MONTHLY STAFF REPORT City Clerk's Office May, 2012 Citv Council Meetin� Mav 1, 2012, Resular Meetin� ➢ 2011 Audit presented to Council ➢ City employee Wellness program approved ➢ License and Maintenance Agreement with Jesse Jane's Signs approved ➢ Discussion on hiring a Police Sergeant — action tabled ➢ Approval to accept bid from Gilman Heating and air to upgrade the heating in the Police Department ➢ Moved to authorize engineer to begin work on additional improvements to the Government Drive Project ➢ Called a special budget workshop Council meeting on August 21, 2012 ➢ Discussed an offer to donate property to the City ➢ Moved to continue with the open book process ➢ Appointed Patti Bonicatto to the Park Commission ➢ Approved a 3.2%, Wine and Strong Beer licenses for the Hungry Loon Cafe � Park Commission — Mav 10, 2012 — Minutes are attached. The Park Commission continues to inventory existing City parks and recommend improvements to the parks. The Public Works Department has begun implementing some of the recommended improvements. Economic Development Commission — Mav 15, 2012 — Minutes are attached. The EDC has decided to address the Council on the need for a WAC/SAC policy and/or ordinance. The Commission reviewed a request from a business owner interested in purchasing a lot in the City's Business Park. HRA — Mav 15, 2012 — Minutes attached.
