Mayo e Park <br /> . <br /> Mayor Adatated that she has met with representatives of the <br /> property. Sh` noted that there are restrictions on the property requiring <br /> that the property is owned by one owner. The Mayor also noted that a <br /> large portion of the property is located in Cass County. After checking with <br /> the City Attorney, it has been found that the City can own land outside of <br /> its jurisdiction. The Park Commission discussed the merit of acquiring the <br /> land. The Park Commission consented that the property could be used as <br /> a rustic park for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. <br /> COMMISSIONER BRUCH MOVED TO RECOMMEND THAT THE CITY <br /> ACCEPT THE LAND FOR USE AS A RUSTIC PARK. COMMISSIONER <br /> DOUGHTY SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
