Dawn Butner
ding Administrator
City of Pequot lakes
4638 West County Road 11
Pequot lakes, IVIN 56472
Dear bawn/ planning commission:
We have submitted a permit application for a cabin addition. It has been denied by the Zoning
Administrator because previous variances had been granted. We respectfully request the Planning and
Zoning Commission to re-consider our request.
`here were three former variances granted. In 1980 for a deck addition, 1986 for a side lot drain field,
and 1992 for an addition to the side of the structure. All of these variances were granted by Craw Wing
"nty over 20 years ago, and none of these variances have had any impact or encumbrance on the
shore impact zone.
The proposed addition will be built by a licensed general contractor to high standards and will comply
with all the remaining zoning regulations, such as site, height, location, share impact, updated septic
system (engineer design pending), etc. The addition will be to the rear of the existing structure, will not
be visible from the lake, and will have no shoreline impact.
Members of the Boschee family have owned property on West Twin Lake for 57"years. Two cabins on
one side of this property, and one cabin on the other side, are owned by members of the Boschee
family. They have no objections to this building project and believe it will enhance the property.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Ken &lean Boschee (owners) Rick Boschee (contractor)
