City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lak6 <br /> October 24, 2012 <br /> Donald Babinski <br /> 2520W. 8t' Street, Suite 1 <br /> Sioux Falls, SD 57104 <br /> RE: Conditional Use Permit Application to Construct Apartments in the Light <br /> Industrial Zone <br /> Dear Mr. Babinski: <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes has received your request for a conditional use permit to <br /> construct apartments in the Light Industrial zoning district. We have determined that <br /> your application is complete and we have scheduled a public hearing for 7:00 P. M. <br /> November 15,2012 at City Hall. You are the third public hearing on the Agenda. <br /> To review, a conditional use is a use that is generally allowed, with conditions applied to <br /> address or mitigate potential problems. For a conditional use permit,the Planning <br /> Commission holds a public hearing and decides whether to approve or deny the <br /> application. The Planning Commission may attach conditions on approval of the permit <br /> to ensure that the proposed use meets other provisions of the Ordinance. <br /> The City prepares a staff report for the Planning Commission prior to the meeting. The <br /> report will discuss the pertinent ordinances and an evaluation and recommendations on <br /> your application.
