Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. April Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the <br /> Zoning Department: <br /> 1. Damian Bonicatto, 5454 Sibley Lake Road, for an addition; <br /> 2. Jessie Jane Signs, 8 sites in DMU, for Directional Signs; <br /> 3. Karen Johnson, 3840 West Sibley Street, for a fence; <br /> 4. Mike Morrison, 31061 Spruce Street, for an addition. <br /> *** Permit applications through April, 2012 are 14, compared with 16 for 2011, 22 <br /> for 2010, 12 for 2009, 24 for 2008, 27 for 2007, 31 for 2006, 35 for 2005 and 32 for <br /> 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. April 12 letter to Todd Tolifson, Rose City Canopy and Sign,regarding City Code <br /> revision; <br /> 2. April 27 letter to Mike Pestello regarding exterior storage; <br /> 3. May 7 letter to Jessie Jane's Signs and Graphics regarding Council approval of <br /> License and Maintenance Agreement; <br /> 4. May 7 letter to Jessie Jane's Signs and Graphics regarding issuance of Sign <br /> Permit. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is <br /> currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will <br /> report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ Virgil Dahl—This matter has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> (10/06) <br /> ➢ Peterson, Gary—Extensive grading. Mr. Peterson has been fined by the MPCA <br /> and the MPCA is monitoring restoration. (7/08) <br /> ➢ Kristine Sivanich—This property is under new ownership and the yard has been <br /> cleaned up. This will be removed from the violation list. (5/09 and 6/11) <br /> ➢ Jan Lee—Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Staff will continue to <br /> monitor.
