They are forwarding you one recommendation at this time. <br />i. Ordinance Amendment regarding the Height of Fences in the Urban <br />Residential Zone. City of Pequot Lakes, Applicant. Application <br />i2-4o88. The maximum height of front, rear and side yard fences in the <br />Urban Residential Zone is currently 6o inches (5 ft). It was determined by the <br />Planning Commission that the rear yards of properties in the Urban Residential <br />Zone are private spaces and that privacy fences up to a maximum height of 96 <br />inches (8 ft) should be allowed. It was also determined that since the front and <br />side yards of properties in the Urban Residential Zone address the public realm, <br />the maximum height of fences in those areas should remain at 6o inches (5ft). <br />The Planning Commission is recommending the proposed ordinance <br />amendment be approved. <br />�-��*��*���* <br />I will be in attendance of the upcoming meeting.
