The purpose of <br /> the site visit was to document the grading work that has been completed and also to <br /> discuss the area to the north where you felt the tree would need to be removed. It was <br /> determined by the City Planner that the ice ridge on the property was removed without a <br /> permit. <br /> The work that has been completed is not in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance and <br /> would not have been approved if a permit was applied for. The disturbed area is required <br /> to be restored. The attached shoreline restoration plan has been created by the City <br /> Planner and if implemented in full, would bring the property into conformance with the <br /> Code. <br /> The City Planner has provided a drawing explaining the restoration: <br /> 1. Use fill heavy with organic material (black dirt); <br /> 2. Native seed mix must be used to stabilize the fill; <br /> 3. Silt fence must remain in place until turf is established. <br /> This restoration must be done as soon as possible to establish turf prior to winter.
